Washing and care instructions:
40 °C normal program. Si litation 1 point – maximum 110 °C.
Wash separately, do not use fabric softener.
Most Fjällräven G-1000 clothes are already waxed. However, after a few washes and with regular use, the wax surface needs to be renewed.
Note that Greenland Wax makes the material water repellent, not waterproof.
Sometimes wind and water resistance is not the most important thing. Sometimes I hope the clothes breathe, for example in warm and sunny weather. In this case, it makes sense to remove Greenland Wax. You do it by washing your clothes at 40 °C two to three times.

GENERAL CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FJÄLLRÄVEN
You should always start by reading the care instructions carefully . However, as a rule of thumb, we advise you to wash the products only when they really need it. Machine washing wears out clothes and sleeping bags and strains zippers, Velcro and other controls. The large amount of water and energy consumed by excessive machine washing is not nature-friendly either.
Instead, we recommend washing dirty areas by hand with warm water, mild soap or detergent and a sponge. Simply airing your clothes or sleeping bags may also be enough.
However, if you end up machine washing, 30-degree water consumes less energy than 40-degree water. Also remember to use a detergent suitable for the products to be washed. Do not use fabric softener; it leaves a waxy residue on your clothes that may damage the properties of the equipment, for example affecting the material's ability to wick away moisture.
Tumble drying stresses clothes equally - and for some products it is strictly prohibited. So hang your clothes to dry – except for down – whenever possible, preferably outside.
General storage tips
Some Fjällräven products become permanent favorites used almost every day. Other products, for example tents, sleeping bags and large and warm winter coats are rather rare treasures. For them, the right kind of storage is therefore important. A damp storage location with poor ventilation is your equipment's worst enemy, as it is the perfect breeding ground for mold. It is important to store equipment in a dry place with good ventilation and away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Certain products – for example Eco-Shell and G-1000 garments – will most likely need to be impregnated again after storage.
