The German Jack Wolfskin is Europe's leading producer of outdoor clothing and equipment, founded in 1981.
The safety of children's products is a matter of the heart for Jack Wolfskin. This means that the products are not only comfortable, easy to use, durable and functional for children, but also safe. Buttons and zipper pulls cannot come off and cannot be choked on. All tensioners, for example in the hoods, are attached so that you cannot strangle them. In addition, all children's products, such as clothes, backpacks and shoes, are equipped with reflective surfaces or details.
Jack Wolfskin's products are responsibly and ethically developed and manufactured, right down to the packaging materials. All products have been made PFC-free since 2012, and since 2013 only RDS-certified down and 100% organic cotton have been used. The products do not use fur or Angora wool, only certified merino wool. The products are packed in 100% recycled plastic.
In addition, Jack Wolfskin manufactures products from GRS-certified recycled materials. The biggest milestone in the use of recycled materials is the completely unique TEXAPORE ECOSPHERE developed by the manufacturer, which is a waterproof recycled film made from PET bottles. Recycled polyester has been used for a long time in the jacket's outer surface materials, inner linings, inner surface laminates, mesh linings and fleeces. The next steps are to make snaps and zippers from recycled materials, and to work with the bluesign® organization on the certification process for recycled materials as well.
Olkia's selection includes timeless and wear-resistant outdoor clothing (in sizes 104-176 cm) from Jack Wolfskin as well as accessories and sleeping bags.
