VAI-KO is a domestic company founded in 2014, whose story began when Maria and Henri wanted to bring a more responsible alternative to acrylic beanies to the market. A hat that is ethically and transparently produced and made from ecological materials. Passionate adventurers also wanted to make people find their lost connection with nature.

Since then, VAI-KO's product range has grown and the team has been strengthened. All of them are united by the values of responsibly and sustainably produced accessories and clothes. VAI-KO's products represent minimalist design, as they are designed to last and function both in the city and in the wilderness. Responsible operation also boils down to the question that comes from the design table: "how long does the product last in use?"

VAI-KO knitwear is made in Finland in Tampere and Kokkola. The merino wool used in the products comes from organic sheep farms in Patagonia, which operate under strict GOTS certification. The wool is then delivered to Schoeller in Austria, where it is made into high-quality and fine merino wool yarn without harmful chemicals under the BlueSign certificate. However, some products require synthetic fibers to reach their best potential. Then recycled polyamide or recycled polyester is added to them. The caps are manufactured by reliable and certified partners in India and China (e.g. SA8000, BSCI, SEDEX, FAIR TRADE).

In Olkia's selection, you can find children's and youth socks in sizes 26-38, as well as beanies and headbands from the adult collection, which are equally suitable for use by young people.
