Kånken backpack

Many of us adults remember Fjällräven's Kånken backpack from our own childhood or youth, and it's still just as popular! The classic Kånken backpack is made of durable Vinylon fabric that repels dirt and moisture. Whatever you decide to do, don't put Kånken in the washing machine. Instead, wash the dirty areas with lukewarm water, a mild detergent and a soft brush or sponge. The kånke should be dried by hanging it in a place with good ventilation and where it is protected from direct sunlight.

Bright and vivid colors are achieved with a special dyeing technique. But this means that the color may come off and stick to clothes - especially light colored clothes. We therefore recommend rinsing Kånken with lukewarm water before you start using it.

Kånken should not be overcrowded. Also, don't put your laptop in the Kånken. Its back pocket is for folders, notepads and maybe even a tablet, but not a laptop. It puts too much stress on the straps and zippers.

If something gets stuck in Kånken's zippers, avoid jerking and jerking. Instead, try loosening it up with a drop of colorless lip balm. Then carefully try to open and close the zipper.

If tears appear, repair them immediately. The longer you leave them unfixed, the bigger they become and then they are almost impossible to fix.

And finally: don't leave Kånken in direct sunlight. The color fades. Kånken likes shade or less intense sunlight.
