When the membrane garment tears, don't worry! Fix it with Tenacious Tape GORE-TEX fabric patch. This GORE-TEX patch kit contains two adhesive-based fabric repair patches. The patches can be cut to the required size and shape, for any waterproof and breathable jackets, pants and gloves. Iron or heat the patch for a few minutes to improve durability.
Instructions for use: Clean and dry the area requiring repair. Cut the patch piece to the desired size, but the suitable piece is about 12 mm larger than the part to be repaired in all directions. Round the corners of the patch and remove the paper on the wrong side. Place the patch over the torn area. Rub any air bubbles from the place with movements directed from the center to the edges. The repaired garment can be worn immediately, but the adhesive surface reaches its best durability in about 12-24 hours. The seat is machine washable. The permanence of the spot can be enhanced by ironing it with mild heat. More troublesome tears should be evaluated/repaired by an authorized repairer.
